NTU is taking part in the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) Annual Meeting, in Chicago from 12 to 16 Feb 2009, to further raise the international research community’s awareness of NTU as Singapore’s leading research-intensive university of science and technology. At the meeting NTU will also highlight the ample opportunities available for top international talent to join its ranks, notwithstanding the current economic slowdown. NTU will highlight its Nanyang Assistant Professorship Scheme which is open to young, talented post-doctoral fellows worldwide to play leading roles in its new wave of multidisciplinary and integrative research. A grant of $1 million over 3 years to fund cutting-edge work will be awarded to successful applicants. This year up to 10 grants will be available.
