Mr Jason Ang proposed to his long-time girlfriend of seven years, Ms Ang Bee Ling, at NTU’s convocation ceremony last Thursday. Jason and Bee Ling both recently completed a Masters programme at NTU in mechanics and processing of materials. Jason said he started planning the proposal at the convocation ceremony some two months back, and he found the idea of proposing to Bee Ling at the convocation “quite cool” as it was the first time anybody had ever done so. The couple plan to register their marriage at the end of this year and they are now waiting for their flat in Punggol to be completed.
