Latest NTU study at Earth Observatory of Singapore unearths potential flooding of coastal cities in the region​

Scientists from NTU at its Earth Observatory of Singapore (EOS) have discovered that previous large fluctuations in sea levels in Southeast Asia could potentially occur again. The five-year study which involved studying coral colonies, unearthed drastic fluctuations that occurred more than 6,000 years ago, which exceeded 0.5 metres in sea levels without the influence of human-driven climate change.
