NTU's ICMAT 2017 speaker and Nobel laureate Prof Hiroshi Amano on his work and future

Professor Hiroshi Amano, who was awarded the 2014 Nobel Prize in physics for co-creating the blue LED, was one of the main draws at the 9th International Conference on Materials for Advanced Technologies (ICMAT) at the Suntec Convention & Exhibition Centre from 19 to 23 June 2017. The conference, which was organised by NTU, was attended by more than 2,300 experts in materials science and technology.
