​NTU and ELID develops robot to clean and paint high-rise buildings

Robots may soon take over cleaning and painting high-rise buildings in Singapore, thanks to a new automated gondola system co-developed by NTU and Elid Technology International. Called the OutoBot, it was launched as a commercially ready product after two years of research and development, with the aim of improving productivity while enhancing workplace safety.
