Building and road at NTU renamed after Singapore Hokkien Huay Kuan and Mr Tan Lark Sye

Two facilities at NTU have been named after the Singapore Hokkien Huay Kuan and its former chairman Tan Lark Sye to acknowledge their contributions to the development of Singapore's tertiary education. The College of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences building is named the Singapore Hokkien Huay Kuan Building. Nanyang Valley is renamed after Mr Tan, who founded the former Nanyang University.
